Our mission

Turning closed doors into open ones

Too many people in our city are held back by the system, not by a lack of effort. A record, a missing credential, or no one to show the way can keep a hard worker out of a good job for years.

We work with justice-impacted and underserved adults. We help them earn a credential, find their way through the paperwork, and connect with people who will hire them.

  • Re-Entry to Early Childhood Pipeline (RECP). Prepares adults for the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and work in early childhood education.
  • Summer youth programs. Computer skills, STEM and mentoring for Milwaukee teens.

Meet Tameka

She does this work every day

Tameka Spears founded All For You Empowerment Foundation. She has run a licensed adult family home in Milwaukee since 2014, under Wisconsin's DHS 88 rules.

She also teaches caregivers in Wauwatosa. She knows what it takes to get a credential, get hired and keep a job, because she hires and trains people herself.

Tameka's businesses

Looking for care, or for a career in care?

Tameka also owns two businesses. They are separate from the nonprofit and run on their own.
